Accredited Antenna Calibration

Data you can build
your results on

Gain, antenna factor and reflection coefficient, calibrated in our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Your calibration certificate carries the ČIA accreditation mark.

Who it’s for

Antennas of any make

Whether you run a test laboratory or test your products in-house, we provide accredited calibration of your antennas from 500 MHz to 40 GHz, a solid, documented basis for every result you report.

Recognition

Calibration certificates that stand up to an audit

RFspin Calibration Laboratory is accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute (ČIA) to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 as Calibration Laboratory No. 2433. ČIA is a signatory to the EA MLA and the ILAC MRA, so certificates issued under our accreditation are recognized in all signatory countries.

Gain and antenna factor

Scope of accreditation

500 MHz – 40 GHz

Frequency range

0.7 dB

Best expanded uncertainty

Three-antenna method

Calibration method

Measurement distance 1 m (SAE ARP 958E, ch. 4) or 3 m (ANSI C63.5, ch. 5). Gain from −10 to 40 dB, antenna factor from −16 to 72 dB(m⁻¹). Best expanded uncertainty 0.7 dB at 3 m and 0.8 dB at 1 m; a particular calibration may have a higher uncertainty.

Reflection coefficient

Scope of accreditation

500 MHz – 40 GHz

Frequency range

0.21 dB

Best expanded uncertainty

Vector network analyzer

Calibration method

Reflection coefficient from 0 to −35 dB. Expanded uncertainty 0.21 dB (0 to −6 dB), 0.41 dB (−6 to −15 dB), 1.4 dB (−15 to −25 dB) and 4.1 dB (−25 to −35 dB). VSWR is reported for information only, outside the scope of accreditation.

Our accreditation (certificate No. 453/2026, valid until 6 October 2029) covers the quantities and ranges listed in the annex to the certificate.

Our principles

A laboratory in its own right

Our Head of Laboratory, Dr. Václav Kabourek, reports directly to the CEO, independently of RF SPIN production and sales. The laboratory runs its own quality system. Our impartiality statement is signed by the laboratory management, and we provide it on request.

Details on the laboratory page

Equal treatment. The same documented procedures and uncertainty evaluation apply to every antenna we calibrate.

Reviewed before release. Every calibration certificate is checked and signed by authorized staff before it is issued.

Confidential by default. Your data and results are not disclosed without your consent, except where the law requires it.

Externally assessed. ČIA reviews us at regular intervals, and we take part in interlaboratory comparisons.

The process

From inquiry to calibration certificate

01

Inquiry

Describe your antenna and what you need. We then propose the scope of calibration.

02

Quotation

We send the price and a proposed date. Work starts only after you approve.

03

Calibration

We calibrate your antenna using the method and scope agreed in the quotation.

04

Delivery

We ship your antenna back and send you a private link to download the calibration certificate and results.

Have an antenna to calibrate? Request a quotation
Before you ship

Getting your antenna to us

We accept antennas up to 1 m in size with N, SMA, 3.5 mm or 2.92 mm (K) connectors. For anything else, ask us before you ship.

Once you have accepted the quotation, ship your antenna to:
RFspin Calibration Laboratory
Kumburský Újezd 112
509 01 Nová Paka
Czech Republic

Calibrating several antennas of the same type? Send them together: they share one setup, and we quote a better price.

Pack your antenna so that it cannot be damaged in transport. If the calibration needs accessories such as holders, mounts or a power supply, we agree on them with you in advance and you send them with the antenna. Shipping to us and back is at your cost. Shipping from outside the EU? Contact us first and we will agree on the customs documents with you.
