New DRH0908 High-Power EMC Antenna

This week, Europe’s EMC community gathered in Prague for EMC Europe 2026, the International Symposium and Exhibition on Electromagnetic Compatibility. Prague is our home city – so we used the show to put our newest antenna in front of the engineers who will run it.

The DRH0908 was engineered for the new generation of automotive test requirements: radiated RF field generation and product immunity. It covers 900 MHz to 8 GHz in a single double ridged horn, with headroom well past the 6 GHz ceiling that limits most horns in this class – just as test bands keep pushing higher.

Key Specifications:

  • Frequency range: 900 MHz – 8 GHz
  • VSWR: 1.3 (average)
  • Gain: 8 – 24 dBi
  • Power (CW / Peak): 800 W / 1500 W
  • Connector: 7/16 (female)

It is built to drive fields, not just measure them – high power handling and a 7/16 connector for radiated immunity work, with the sensitivity to double as an emissions antenna for EMI testing. Machined from high-grade aluminum with a corrosion-resistant finish and, like every RF SPIN antenna, produced and measured in-house.
